Threadleaf Japanese Maples on the South Grounds
This is a photograph of a threadleaf Japanese maple planted by First Lady Frances Folsom Cleveland in 1893. To the right of the picture is smaller Japanese Maple First Lady Rosalynn Carter planted in 1978 to replace another maple planted by Mrs. Cleveland.
